Happy Mardi Gras Lovelies!! If you didn’t see our posts to lovely up your Mardi Gras Party then you must check it out. One of my many favorite parts about Mardi Gras is the Parade. It is such a fabulous gathering of different people, fantastic floats, tons of beads and sheer joy. Enjoy your Day everyone! I will be off to Portland’s own Mardi Gras Parade tonight!

If you haven’t seen these before, they are parade ladders. You sit your child at the top and they catch all of the parades from the kid’s parade. They are adorable and so many of them are custom made like these ones.

I also adore how on every fence post there are beads. It instantly turns a fence into a festive decor piece. Everyone puts their extra beads on ever fence they see so everyone and everything can be celebrating Mardi Gras together. Some even have beads placed on them for people to take. It symbolized such a sense of community.

I also love how the well practiced Mardi Gras Goers show off their sprit and love of Mardi Gras with pins on their outfit. Every pin is meaningful. Some are to show support of a krewes which are many and many throw their own parade, while others are pure decoration from previous times ago when they went to Mardi Gras.
